America is fertile ground, waiting for the love of Jesus to fall , if only we would open up our hearts. I am ashamed to admit of the great pride we have here. Being proud of our land is very good, but having such pride within our hearts is the issue. I do not like many of the choices that we are making, but does this take away my love for my country? Of course not! I will always love my home land, no matter where I go. To which end of the earth I flee, this country will always remain dear to my heart and I will always return to it. My love can only go so far, you see, but there is One who loves this land even more than I could ever love. He is the Great I Am.
He created this mass of dirt, so therefore, He must have a deep love in His heart for it. Let me give you a little explanation on why He loves this land. It is because of His love for His people. Jesus died for us. It is finished! Done, paid for! His mercy reaches to the skies, that’s a long way!
What about those who are lost in the deepest darkness, those whose minds have been perverted? Once we can get a revelation on how much God loves us, we can give them a chance just like God gave us. The least we can do is reach out our hand and make a sacrifice to love, as God did for us.
We are pieces of art, created by the master artist Himself. So to Him, not one of His works of art is irrelevant or of bad taste. He painted on the canvases of our hearts using His great imagination. He used the finest of colors so that the world may see that we are unique.
He gave His life for Americans and all other peoples. Now go, and walk in sonship, knowing that He accepts you as His own. And just remember, He has a bigger container of love and mercy than we do and He knows what He is doing with this land we call America. We are all in good hands! Amen!

There’s a whole lot of shaking going on…….
Hag. 2:5-9 “According to the word that I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt, so My Spirit remains among you; DO NOT FEAR!’ (emphasis mine)
“For thus says the LORD of hosts: ‘Once more (it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land; and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the LORD of hosts.
“The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,’ says the LORD of hosts.
“The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the LORD of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give peace,’ says the LORD of hosts.
Firstly, God reminds us of His covenant with His people. Please notice that in verse 5, this prophecy is preempted by the command from God: “DO NOT FEAR!” The phrase, do not fear is found in the Bible 365 times, one for each day of the year. The Lord of Hosts is advising us to take heed in trusting Him every moment for our very sustenance.
The shaking of heaven and earth and sea and dry land is upon us, but we are not to doubt that He will meet us in the very midst of turmoil. The whole world is shaking; it’s the call to intimacy, He’s beckoning His people to draw near to Him.
We are His latter temple……….. filled with His glory……..

Dear elected official,
Firstly, I would like to thank you for taking the risk of becoming a representative of the people of Oregon. I say RISK, because the political arena is a dangerous one. American men and women enter with high ideals, with a passion to represent the people of their district, and hopefully, with a working knowledge of our constitution. Somewhere along the way, a perversion may occur, and these men and women become part of a machine called “politics”. It appears to be transforming into an entity of its own, submitting not to the people who trusted them for representation, or to those the government is to protect , but to its own self-service.
Yes, indeed, I, as a natural born American citizen,have a great concern about the America my ancestors created for me and their grandchildren and theirs. I would like to pose a few questions for you:
Do you truly believe in your heart that the selling out of America is the desire of the average American? Is it even YOUR desire to forget the battles that America has fought on foreign soil and that bloodied our own lands for liberty? Have you sold us out in one administration, on the sole basis of party allegiance?
My final question and perhaps the most important one is: Have you considered the ramifications of your decisions upon the lives of your own grandchildren and their heritage? I am assuming that your love for them is above all other loves of people or things of earthly value. I am sure you are a man/woman of integrity who aspires to leave an inheritance to them of that same integrity that your ancestors of old left for you to enjoy right now. I adjure you to think of the future of America and those of us who are natural born Americans and make decisions that improve our country for the benefit of our future generations … to guarantee they will live in a country that will continue to be called ” the land of the free and the home of the brave”.
It seems to me that the decisions made by this administration have been made from a spirit of GREED, which translates to only caring about “my current economic status” and not in consideration of a bright future for America. True democratic capitalism made us a great and wealthy country; this slide into Marxism, Socialism, Communism, et al, will bring the demise of our children’s children and theirs, as well as your children’s children and theirs, as American born citizens of our great nation.
I beg you to stop the needless deaths of future Americans. One of those could be your prodigy who discovers a cure for cancer, or even becomes a respectable President of the United States of America. Because of these approximately 60,000,000 unborn casualties, we have lost much of our creative power to make our country a better and stronger one. We’ve lost a very large tax base, causing over taxation of the remainder.
The loss of our freedoms have cost our country individual initiative, which leads to a unnatural dependency upon the people that do work and are increasing the productivity of America. This simply causes slothfulness, lack of self worth, and produces an impoverished country.
The root issue is greed for the moment, and a lack of futuristic thought and planning. No amount of shooting at the symptoms of greed and every other evil deed will relieve the issues that are currently facing us, but as we lay aside division and unite under the banner of the United States of America, we can overcome the evil that has come across our land to destroy the blessings that the One God of the Universe has placed upon our country.
Please, be extremely sensitive while you hold the privileged position of representation of the people of America. You have the potential to make or break our country. May I remind you of this one last item? Your position is only TEMPORARY………….. but, your continued generations are infinite.

As we approach the new year, I am reminded of the game “red rover”. Remember playing that as a child? Most of us are no longer children, but adults with childlike hearts toward our God.
In this journey called “life”, as the body of Christ, we must be tightly aligned. The closer we are, the firmer our grip with one another, the stronger we are as a team. No one ever won in red rover without unity… hand to hand, shoulder to shoulder in harmonious cooperation.
We are only as strong as our weakest link!
Our team has the advantage of the seal of the Holy Spirit…
Song 8:6-7 Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame. Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: if a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be condemned.
Let us be a sign and a wonder to the world by becoming a display of His true love for all His people, by the aligned strength of our united devotion to our Lord and for one another.

For centuries we’ve heard of revivals in masses of people occurring all over the world; the Great Awakening, the Welsh Revival, the Healing Revivals, the Asuza Street Revival, the Jesus Movement, Toronto Outpouring, just to list a few. Were you included in the masses of these revivals? May I assume, not many?
I would like to offer a simple definition of revival: The prefix re means to do it again, while the word viva means life. Hence, an individual returning to life. Add the ecclesiastical and it becomes one returning to life in Jesus Christ.
This means one must have previously tasted and must have already seen that Jesus is good. One must have experienced the Lord’s influence upon his life, but somewhere along the Way he lost his close walk with Him. A day comes along like every other day, but suddenly the Father God manifests His presence upon her in a new Way that she can no longer continue on the familiar road before her. He displayed a new revelation of Himself to him/her personally. This experience could have occurred in a church meeting, in a tent, in a stadium filled with Christians, or countless other places where someone was leading worship and/or preaching.
Or when you are alone…worshipping God, studying His word, meditating on His love and goodness, suddenly, He’s right there in the room, He’s upon you in a tangible way! Awareness of your sin brings quick and easy repentance; His glory weighs heavily upon you. He has chosen to reveal Himself in an undeniable fashion. You have experienced a personal encounter with the Creator of the universe! He has disrupted your life and forever changed you.
You are in revival! What is your response? It’s time for “show and tell”, you must go out and touch someone with His goodness. You tell your spouse or children, and they receive His touch and become excited about the Lord.
Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.
For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them. Matt. 18:19-20
You gather others to celebrate with you and…. Sunday morning, anticipation is in the air; He never disappoints. The hunger for Him reaches the point where His presence rests on everyone. Worship is off the charts, the morning lingers on into the night and your church is in revival!
The sounds of His presence upon the people travel down the street and across town….and others “catch it” and move into revival. This produces cohesiveness amongst the brethren and before you know it…. You are together in one mind, and one purpose. Could this possibly be God’s plan for UNITY?

Some people say that Clear Lake is the best bass fishing lake in the world and having fished there several times, I agree. Situated in a large volcanic valley in Norther California, the lake is known for it’s large bass population and is a mecca of sorts of bass fishermen the country over who want a chance at one of the monsters lurking off it’s banks.
My friend, Pastor Frank, is a prolific bass fisherman who lives near the lake. He has all the tools of the trade, a bass boat, every bait and lure known to man, fish finders, GPS and of course a voracious appetite to get into the fish and catch the big ones. He knows his lake and he knows what the fish will bite or won’t bite at certain times and in certain conditions.
Simply put, Frank is a professor in the school of fish. I mean, he’s not IN the school of fish per se, what I mean is he could teach fish school…You know what I mean!
If only we could all be more like Frank in the Most Important Fishing Tournament Ever!
Yes, I’m talking about spreading the good news of the gospel of Jesus, being “fishers of men”.
Studies have shown that a large majority of Christians go to their grave without ever leading someone else to Jesus. The implications of that are pretty scary: how could we be so selfish as to keep such a good thing to ourselves?
Most Christians don’t tell others about their faith for the simple reason that it’s just so scary! It’s hard to go up to someone cold turkey and just blab out:
“Hi my name’s Theron and I’m a Christian and did you know you’re going to hell? Yep. Well, turn or burn man. Read this tract that was printed in the 70’s to see how you’re going to hell and how you can… not go to hell. Well nice chattin’ with ya, have a nice day!”
It might seem a bit far fetched, but that’s a lot of people’s assumption of evangelism. Assuming whomever you’re talking to doesn’t sock you in the nose first, let’s assume for a moment that they actually do respond to your turn or burn message.
What if you did “get them saved”?
What are you saving them to? The First Church of Non-hell Goers? Now THAT’S a a really fun church to go to! They’re going to live their entire lives thinking that they bought the perfect insurance plan and now that they’re “saved” they don’t have to worry about eternity anymore.
What a travesty that so many miss out on the true pleasures of walking with Jesus!
I think the first key to evangelism is found in the Bible, when Jesus sent his disciples out on their first evangelistic trip. Let’s read a bit about it:
Mat 10:7-8 …And as you go, proclaim, saying, The kingdom of Heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. You have received freely, freely give.
Yeah! That’s what I’m talking about! The first evangelists didn’t waste time in frivolous debates, public relations or second hand accounts of the works of Jesus. They DID the works of Jesus! THEN they preached the gospel to a hungry crowd who was ready to receive because they had been the recipient of this good news in a tangible way.
For too long Christians have been carrying the message, but not the power to back it up.
We preach the Word, but we don’t really believe it. It’s just a way to make us feel better about ourselves by “paying our dues” and then moving on with life. We cast our bait out in the water, but we forget to tie it to our line!
Well I say it’s time to change that. It’s time to figure out where we went wrong and why we don’t have signs and wonders following us like Jesus and the early Christians did.
Maybe it’s simply because we haven’t tried.
My family has begun some new adventures in this area. We’re calling them Holy Spirit adventures. We put ourselves on the edge by asking God to show up in our everyday lives and show us people who need a touch from Him.
It’s simple, we ask, He comes! Anyone can do it. Just ask God to show you someone you can minister life to today. You’ll be surprised at how quickly He answers!
There’s a dying world out there, it’s time we started carrying some life to them and invading the enemy’s domain with the Good News of Jesus.
